On May 7, 2024, the Government Law Center at Albany Law School presented the fourth and final program in the annual Warren M. Anderson Legislative Series, “The Powers of the Governor in the State Budget Process.”

Panelists examined the constitutional, legal, and practical issues related to the powers of the Governor of New York State in the state budget process. The program also explored gubernatorial budgetary powers in other states.

The panel discussion was moderated by Robert Megna — President of the Rockefeller Institute of Government (SUNY)
